I am Ryan Fondulis

About me

After leaving the Air Force, I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.S. in Computer Science with a Software Engineering concentration. Now I'm a Software Engineering Sr Analyst at Accenture Federal Services

One of my hobbies is tinkering with raspberry pi micro computers, so far I've done simple things like build LAMP stacks to serve websites, build an Amiga emulator, and power a Smart Mirror. Now that I've graduated, I hope to do a lot more!

Another hobby is repairing appliances/small electronics/cell phones...I'm just a beginner with no formal training, but as a former jet engine mechanic, I've got a knack for fixing things. So far I've troubleshot and replaced:

  • Start/Run capacitor on A/C heat pump
  • A/C thermostat (voltage problem...upgraded to a NEST)
  • Clothes washing machine water inlet valve (clogged...also cleaned out the funnel shower head)
  • Main control board in a dishwasher (after a lightning strike)
  • Wii U GamePad screen (damaged during a move)
  • Batteries in several generations of iPhone
  • iSight camera on iPhone 6 Plus (had the blur problem)
  • iPhone 6 Plus screens
  • 3DS XL screen (this one was difficult!)
